| The LArg Tower Builder Board: calculation, simulation, measurements |

The Tower Builder for the ATLAS electromagnetic calorimeter is in charge of summing the samplings in depth in a trigger tower of transverse size Delta(Eta) x Delta(Phi) = 0.1 x 0.1. In this document we show that the Tower Builder fulfils its requirements in terms of output signal shape, noise and saturation behaviour. Studies on test bench and test beam are compared to analytical calculations and Spice simulations of the trigger chain. |
